All traffic in Jomfruland National Park must be careful and respectful of vegetation, wildlife and cultural heritage on land and sea. There are 15 bird conservation areas in the national park with a traffic ban in the period from April 15 to July 15. In these areas, it is forbidden to travel closer than 50 meters on land and sea. We ask everyone to respect the ban for the sake of nesting birds.

On Jomfruland, we place particular emphasis on the fact that Kråka (in the far north of Øytangen) and the entire Skadden (the southern tip of Jomfruland, including the boat) are covered by the traffic ban.

The following areas are covered by the traffic ban in Jomfruland National Park:

Lille Fengesholmen

Store Makholmen

Whiskers

Østre Rauane

Skadden (the ban includes the stall)

Rod cutter

Hattholmane

Yaw cutter

Beverskjærra

Stutsholmane

Crow
