Ekelund consult has submitted a proposal for a management plan for the coastal heathlands on Styrmannsholmen.

Everything indicates that the islets have been used for grazing for a long time, until around the Second World War.

Ekelund suggests how coastal heathlands can be restored by clearing scrub, burning old heather and grazing animals.

The board of the national park will decide at its meeting on June 10 whether work should be initiated.
